Interest and Opt-Out Forms

We’re excited that so many families are interested in our Dual Language Programs!  We are thankful for School Board support that allows every student at our school to begin learning a second language!​

We use a general lottery system to provide equitable access to immersion classes. Students not selected for the immersion classes are placed on a waiting list and still receive weekly Spanish instruction through our FLES (Foreign Language in the Elementary School) program.

Families will be notified of lottery selection in mid-August (when the teacher assignments are available in Parent Portal).

​We invite families new to the school to let us know of their interest during registration. 

All Kindergarten children are entered into the lottery unless an Opt-Out Form is submitted during registration​.

Opt Out Form (formulario de exclusión) - Kindergarten only. 

Students in grades 1-5 can complete a Wait-List Lottery Interest Form at registration to enter the program on a space-available basis. ​

• Wait-List Lottery Interest Form (grades 1-5 only) - The priority deadline for 2021-22 is May 15.

• Formulario de interes para 1-5 grados  - La fecha límite de prioridad para el año escolar 2021-22 va ser el 15 de mayo.

Students generally remain in the immersion program once enrolled. There is no need to fill out forms annually​.
